Kamikadze — rules, controls and scoring

There is no final wave. Keep the plumber alive, control the drain coil temperature and do not let the clogs trap you in one corridor.

Objective

Survive as long as possible. A tougher wave begins every 30 seconds: more enemies spawn faster, with new clog and rat types joining the attack.

Movement and controls

WASD or arrow keys — move only up, down, left and right. Space — drain coil, B — mine, Q — WUKO, P or Esc — pause. On a phone, use the directional pad and separate action buttons.

Coil overheating

The coil has no ammunition or hidden energy limit: it works as soon as you hold the button, even without a target. It can run continuously for about 2.4 seconds. At 100% temperature it shuts down — release the button and let the lower gauge cool to a safe level.

Extra weapons

Defeated clogs may drop mines, placed with B. A Golden Clog grants one WUKO charge, launched with Q: it removes nearby enemies and knocks back or stuns distant ones. The narrow lower bar shows mines, WUKO and coil temperature.

Full scoring rules

  • 10 points for every full second survived
  • 2 points for every complete tile actually travelled — pushing into a wall scores nothing
  • Grease 300, Hair 340, Hunter Rat 360, Paper 380
  • Interceptor Rat 460, Heavy Clog 520, Mutant Rat 620, Golden Clog 1200
  • Each elimination within 3.2 s raises the multiplier by 25%, up to +150%. Multi-kills from WUKO do not extend the chain and are capped at +25%.
  • If WUKO is already ready, another Golden Clog awards an extra 800 points.

Where clogs come from

The game rotates active manhole sides so each group does not keep arriving through the same corridor. A warning above a manhole gives you a moment to reposition. Staying still for too long is dangerous.

Ranking: after defeat, choose “TOP 10”, enter a nickname and submit an official score. Infinite lives and Easy difficulty remain training modes and cannot be ranked. Your local best still works offline.

How to play Plumber vs Clogs

Guide the plumber through each pipe maze, collect the repair parts and keep clear of moving clogs. Use the arrow keys or WASD to move in four straight directions and hold Space to run the drain coil. On a phone, use the on-screen directional pad and action buttons. Infinite lives and Easy difficulty are available for relaxed training runs.

What causes real drain blockages?

The enemies are fictional, but their designs reflect common materials found in blocked household drains. Grease, hair, food waste and wipes can restrict flow and may eventually cause wastewater to back up.

Grease in a kitchen drain

Cooking fat can cool and collect on the inside of a pipe. The sticky layer then traps more debris, gradually slowing the sink drain.

Hair and soap residue in a bathroom

Hair tangles with soap and cosmetic residue, creating stubborn clumps in traps and the waste pipes below sinks, baths and showers.

Coffee grounds and food scraps

Coffee grounds do not dissolve in water. Mixed with grease and other deposits, they can add to a blockage.

Wet wipes

Unlike ordinary toilet paper, wet wipes do not break down readily in water. They may catch on rough pipework and build into a serious obstruction.

A drain coil in the game and in real plumbing

In the game, the coil is your main weapon. In real plumbing, mechanical drain and sewer cleaning requires equipment suited to the pipe diameter, route and condition. Recurring faults may also call for a CCTV drain inspection.
